FOUR TECHNOLOGY GIANTS WILL INVEST $2.4 TRILLION IN AI INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE COMING YEARS
According to news on 1 August, Google parent companies Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft and Amazon have committed nearly $2.4 trillion to building data centres in the coming years. Of this amount, Alphabet ' s outstanding procurement commitments totalled $90.2 billion, Meta disclosed that future expenditures were close to $70 billion, and Amazon capital expenditure would increase to $220 billion this year.
