COLLECTIVE CONSULTANCY: CSP CAPITAL EXPENDITURE IS PROJECTED TO INCREASE BY 90 PER CENT

According to the most recent CENTRAL study, total capital expenditure by the nine largest cloud service providers (CSP) worldwide is expected to increase by about 90 per cent in 2026 over the same period. Against the background of the high demand for infrastructure in AI, there has recently been a marked increase in the willingness of the super-large CSP and Tier-2 data centre operators to procure the NVIDIA (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) GB/VR package of AI servers. In addition, Google and AWS (Amazon Cloud Technology) new-generation ASIC platforms will continue in late 2026, and local AI programmes are being expanded to meet cloud-based large-language model (LLLM) needs among middle-level practitioners, resulting in an increase of the 2026 annual growth of AI servers, from 28 per cent to nearly 31 per cent。
