Trump: Negotiations with Iran are in progress in two stages

On 4 August, at local time, on 3 August, the President of the United States, Trump, in response to a question from a journalist at the White House, stated that negotiations with Iran were under way. Trump stated that the first phase of negotiations with Iran was the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the second phase was denuclearization. According to Trump, the United States is firm in this regard and Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons. In addition, Trump revealed the progress of negotiations on the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. According to Trump, the Straits of Hormuz could be reopened by tomorrow. He also indicated that the negotiations had been conducted at the request of Iran and with the support of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and other countries. He claims that “the United States is going to hit Iran hard more than any previous attack”, as a result of which calls were made by the Iranian side and by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Iran did not want to be beaten, so it said it wanted to negotiate, and they wanted to talk about the Strait. Trump said, “This is Iran's last chance”.
