Joint statements by Egypt, Qatar and Turkey condemning Israeli violations in Gaza
On 4 August, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey issued a joint statement on 3 local time, strongly condemning the continuing Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip. The three countries stressed that Israel must comply with all its obligations under international law and fully implement its commitments under the ceasefire agreement. The three countries reiterate that the continuing Israeli violations of Gaza constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement, undermine the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement and threaten the process of de-escalating the situation. They called for the full protection of civilians, medical facilities and humanitarian personnel and for the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian assistance and medical supplies in the Gaza Strip。
