Tokenet loaned over $1 billion, Marex invested in Digital Prime
On 6 August, the financial services company Marex Group, listed in NASDAQ, had invested in the corporate encryption infrastructure provider Digital Prime Technologies, an undisclosed amount. The investment will support Digital Prime, a digital asset lending platform developed in partnership with EquiLend Tokenet, and will be used for the Marex Extension Agency digital asset business. Digital Prime last week disclosed that Tokenet's loan stock from start-up partners had exceeded $1 billion and that borrowing needs had exceeded $1 billion. The data refer to the scale of digital assets that the Platform can lend and the borrowing intentions expressed by the participating agencies, and are not completed. Tokenet started with Galaxy Digital and Ripple Prime partners. Marex was part of its initiative to expand digital asset operations through investments in encryption market infrastructure。
