Bitwise CIO: institutions for the next decade or trillions of dollars into bitcoin

On 8 August, CoinDesk reported that Matt Hougan, Chief Investment Officer of Bitwise, had indicated that institutional investors might inject trillions of dollars into Bitcoin over the next decade and that financial advisers, family offices, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds were being treated as mainstream financial assets. Hougan expects this process to be more than 10 years old, with global institutions controlling $10 to $2 trillion of assets, and only 1 per cent of its configuration is sufficient to support its long-term price targets. He projected a price target of $1.3 million for 2035. – If bitcoin had a 25 per cent share in the value-storage market, which continued to expand at a rate of 13 per cent per year, it could have reached $1.3 million per BTC. Hougan believed that Strategy had been the largest buyer, but the spot ETF had weakened its premium advantage, its debt space had narrowed and it would be bought more slowly in the future。
