WHITE HOUSE ENCRYPTION CONSULTANT: IF THE CLARITY BILL CANNOT BE MOVED FORWARD BY SEPTEMBER 15TH, THEN IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO PASS
On 9 August, Patrick Witt, a White House encrypted currency adviser, wrote on platform X that the United States Congress had been promoting encrypted market structure legislation for many years and that the Senate had been negotiating on the Clarity Act since last summer. But during the past week, Chuck Schumer and the so-called "Democrats for Encrypted Currency" prevented the bill from voting in a procedural manner before the recess and asked for a further extension. Patrick Witt warned that if the bill could not make progress by 15 September, the likelihood of future adoption would be significantly reduced。
