The new data centre ban in the United States surged against 142 cities in July

On 11 August, the latest data show that the number of new data centres banned from all parts of the United States surged to over 500 in July, compared with about 300 in late June. In late July, 142 cities in 42 states of the United States launched a simultaneous campaign against artificial intelligence data centres, which was the first time that the United States was simultaneously protesting.
