Novig sued the Wisconsin Attorney General to prevent law enforcement action

On 15 August, Novig filed a federal suit in the Western District Court of Wisconsin against the Attorney General of Wisconsin, Josh Kaul, and the State Lottery Administrator, John Dillett, in order to prevent the State from enforcing its sports contract. In April, Wisconsin indicted Kalshi, Polymarket, Robinhod, Crypto.com and Coinbase for breaching the state commercial gambling ban on their sports contract. Novig began providing contracts to Wisconsin clients a week before the indictment and requested the court to expedite the preliminary injunction to prevent the state from enforcing the law。
