Basteur's hard fork will activate in 24 hours

The BSC main network, Pasteur, will activate at 02:30 (UTC) on 25 August 2026, with the goal of enhancing the safety of the certifier and cross-chain operation, while significantly increasing the capacity of available blocks. The upgrade consists of three important improvements: BP-682 enhanced bridge certification, BP-695 optimized certifier governance and rotation, BP-675 enhanced performance and allowed builders to submit implemented blocks, thereby reducing the processing time of the certifiers. Node operators are required to upgrade to V1.7 before activation and to remove the [ETH] environmentbal settings in config.toml to ensure that node is properly activated。
