Curve DAO approves yRisk as a risk provider for crvusd and Llamalend Business

On 4 September, Curve DAO adopted proposal 1492, approving yRisk as a risk provider for crvUD and Llamalend, and concluded the selection process that started in July. The proposal was adopted by 621 million veCRV with only 5.33 votes and executed 87 minutes after the ballot. YRISK will receive one-year revocable funding, including 125,000 frxUSD principal (in sfrxUSD) and 568,000 CRVs, for which an annual grant of $250,000 was requested. YRISK is a two-person self-proclaimed major developer of Resupple and a core developer of Yearn and Resupperly. Resupply was based on a stabilization currency and loan agreement based on CrvUD and CurveLend, which had lost $9.6 million in June 2025 as a result of donor attacks, but the incident was not mentioned in the proposal. Swiss Stake, who was in charge of the review, confirmed the Curve experience of yRisk and expressed concern about the work capacity of only two of its members, which would cover a number of Llamalend market monitoring areas. Llama Risk, who had previously held the position, announced early termination of cooperation with Curve on 29 May, ceased work on 30 June and returned approximately 270,000 crvUD to the Treasury for which no funds had been attributed.
