SCIENTIFIC TECHNOLOGY: THE SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN CPU DEMAND FOR THE DELIVERY OF DLDD5 RDC CHIPS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE EXPANSION OF THE MEMORY INTERCONNECTIVITY CHIP MARKET

On 21 July, the S&T (68808.SH) published an announcement of a record of investor relations activities, in which the company benefited from trends in the AI industry during the first half of the year, strong demand in the industry, higher and continuous generational penetration of the DDR5 and a significant increase in the delivery of the company ' s DDR5RCD chips, with a further increase in the proportion of third and fourth-generation RCD chips. Revenues from the new interconnected chip products MRCD/MDB, PCIeRetimor, CKD and CXLMXC have risen significantly. The company plans to complete the third generation of MRRD/MDB chips this year, and the industry expects that MRDIM will gradually move into the permeation slope phase over the next two to three years, starting with scale applications. Increased demand for CPUs will drive increased use of memory modules, thus contributing to the expansion of the memory interconnected chip market. In addition, the increased importance of CPU in the AI system architecture will synchronize other CPU-related interconnectivity chip requirements, including PCIe interconnectivity, CXL interconnectivity chips, etc. CXL3.1MXC chips have been sent to key customers for sample testing and the rate of penetration in data centres is expected to increase rapidly in the coming years. The PCI6.x/CXL3.xRetimer chip is actively collaborating with the customer test validation and the industry expects to enter the scale application phase by 2027. The company plans to complete the flow of the Ethernet PHYRetimer chip this year。
