Treasure: Investors' expectations of Samsung are not limited to beautiful financial data
On July 7, Charu Chanana, the chief investment strategist in Treasure Finance, stated that after the recent historic increase, investors' demand for Samsung electronics had become more than a strong profit. She noted that after the cumulative increase of almost 150 per cent so far this year, investors needed confident performance guidance, sustained pricing capacity and evidence that AI demand was still accelerating. For Samsung, the key question is whether today ' s storage chip bottlenecks will become tomorrow ' s excess capacity risk. She added that investors would focus on the complete performance of the Samsung in the second quarter, which was published later in the month, and that if performance guidance implied a slowdown in price increases, increased capital expenditure, caution on the part of clients or reduced visibility, they might begin to view the storage chips as late-cycle transactions rather than early-cycle growth stories.
