Central Bank: Social financing stock at the end of June 2026 was 46,206 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.4 per cent over the same period
On 15 July, the Central Bank published a report on financial statistics for the first half of 2026, which initially stated that the stock of social finance at the end of June 2026 was 462.006 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.4 per cent over the same period. Of these, the balance of the renminbi loans to the real economy was 27,916 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.3 per cent over the same period; foreign-currency loans to the real economy were equivalent to the balance of 1,18 trillion yuan, a decrease of 2.9 per cent over the same period; the trust loan balance was 11.24 trillion yuan, an increase of 0.5 per cent over the same period; the trust loan balance was 4.62 trillion yuan, an increase of 4 per cent over the same period; the undiscounted bank balance of 20.2 trillion yuan, a decrease of 2.8 per cent over the same period; the balance of corporate bonds was 36.08 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.9 per cent over the same period; the balance of government bonds was 101.36 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.2 per cent over the same period; and the stock balance of non-financial enterprises was 12.49 trillion yuan, an increase of 5 per cent over the same period。
