American media: Iran considering allowing Europe to demine the Strait of Hormuz
On 4 August, according to Bloomberg, Iran is considering allowing European countries to demine the Strait of Hormuz, a concession that could become part of an agreement to normalize shipping in the waterway and help to advance peace negotiations with the United States. On previous occasions, Iran has stated publicly that it will not allow foreign participation in the demining of this critical hydrocarbon hub.
