Alragzi urged United States Gulf allies to use their influence to dissuade Trump from launching new attacks and warned that any attack against Iran would trigger Iran ' s retaliation for United States assets and energy facilities throughout the Gulf region. Subsequently, Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman communicated with Trump to urge it to postpone military operations. According to another source, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia urged Washington to resume negotiations with Tehran to avoid a resumption of the conflict.
