On 27 July, Cointelegraph reported that the largest Russian bank, the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation (Sberbank), was planning to complete the encryption-trading infrastructure, including a digital repository, by 1 December. Previously, Russia was integrating the transactions, hosting and clearing of encrypted currency into its financial system. The digital repository will record the ownership of the encrypted currency and handle most transactions outside the main block chain.
