Analyst: Consumer confidence surveys have a pacifying effect on monetary policy

On 17 July, Samuel Tombs of Pantheon wrote that the consumer confidence index of the University of Michigan was still rising below last year ' s average. This indicator rose from 49.5 in June to 54.4 and exceeded the economists ' expectations of 50.5. According to Tombs, the expected decline in inflation has brought some comfort to the Fed. “It is true that Chairman Walsh may be a little disappointed because his hard-line talk about inflation has not further depressed expectations”, he said. According to Thomas, however, the “lack of leverage” of workers means that “wage growth is less likely to rise as a result of the recent recovery in overall inflation”。

Robinwood plans to use its more than 10 million active users to bring ordinary investors into DeFi. The 24-hour DEX deal on 12 July, based on the Arbitrum-based Ether Rayer 2 Robinhood Chain, reached about $878 million, but early activities were still driven mainly by meme currency transactions. Its long-term contractual transactions amounted to only about $5.9 million, with cross-chain transfers of assets of about $734 million, while the actual TVL was about $211 million. Robinhod Chain, who originally focused on the monetization of RWA shares and ETFs, currently has only about $12.66 million in active market value for the related assets, and the key follow-up is whether speculative activity can be translated into a continuing demand for stock currency transactions and chain lending。

According to Samuel Tombs, an analyst in Pantheon, the University of Michigan consumer confidence index rose from 49.5 to 54.4 in June, exceeding what economists expected by 50.5 but still below last year ' s average. The decline in inflation expectations has given comfort to the Fed. In addition, the strike protected the freedom of navigation of all vessels in the waters of the region, except those that attempted to violate the United States ongoing maritime blockade against Iran。
